World War I Local Fallen

Smith County, Texas saw thousands of her young men sent off to war during World War I. This page is dedicated to the fallen men who served their country throughout the Great War. These 44 men are listed in the order in which they died. Please note that not every man who served did so overseas, in fact, many were stationed here in the United States. We have also included their cause of death and their death location to reflect this service.
