Andy Leath will be our speaker at our program in August. He will discuss the biography of two early citizens of Tyler; Alfred W. Ferguson and William A. Peete.

Each of these men came to Tyler in the 1800’s and were such influential citizens that their names still live on. Alfred W. Ferguson is the namesake for Tyler’s Ferguson Street and William A. Peete is the namesake for Peete Elementary.
