From Findagrave/com Memorial #63930538 posted by Findagrave member Tyler shows that John Henry Herndon died June 13, 1942 in Caddo Parish, Louisiana and was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Tyler, Smith County, Texas.
J. H. Herndon married Sallie Starley on June 22, 1892 as shown in marriage record filed in Volume K, Page 435 of the Marriage Records of Smith County, Texas.
